About Defend NYC

DefendNYC is a bipartisan group of New Yorkers united by a shared concern over the policies and record of Zohran Mamdani. While we may come from different political backgrounds, we are aligned in our belief that Mamdani’s agenda poses real risks to the future of our city, and we are committed to working together to raise awareness and protect the interests of all New Yorkers.Mamdani’s radical agenda threatens both public safety and affordability in New York City. His calls to slash funding for the NYPD, abolish prisons, and eliminate misdemeanor charges would weaken law enforcement and erode accountability, making our streets and neighborhoods less safe. At the same time, his policies would drive up costs and create new burdens that make it harder for working families to afford to live here. Together, these positions put the stability and future of our city at risk.
